Season Simulation

Rating Uncertainty

Before each season sim, apply independent N(0, σ) noise to every player's 2PS, 3PS, DEF, and REB ratings (rounded to the nearest integer). Models real-world variance in player performance.

Home Court Advantage

The home team receives +1 to all four ratings (2PS, 3PS, DEF, REB) for the duration of each game.

Injuries

Each game carries a chance of an in-game injury (20% per roll, re-rolled for multiples). Injured players sit out a random number of future games — regular season and playoffs alike — before returning.

Game by Game

Each button press simulates one game per active series. Watch the bracket fill in game by game across all simultaneous series.

Round by Round

Each button press completes an entire round instantly. Faster for reviewing full bracket results.

Show Statistical Leaders

Display PPG, RPG, APG, and other per-game leader tables after simulating a season.

Show Season Awards

Display MVP, DPOY, ROY, and All-NBA / All-Defensive / All-Rookie teams after simulating a season.
